Prior to SIUE: Standout distance runner at Pleasant Plains High School… As a senior, helped lead her relay teams to a successful season, beginning with first place finishes in both the 4x400 (4:19.70) and the 4x800 (10:11.61) at the 2023 RIHS Indoor Invitational… At the 2023 Illinois Top Times Championship (1A), her teams placed sixth in the 4x200 (1:52.72), third in the 4x400 (4:12.94), and fourth in the 4x800 (10:11.61)… Concluded her high school track career at the 2023 Pana Invitational with first place finishes in all three events she competed in, including the 4x200 (1:52.15), the 4x400 (4:16.00), and the 4x800 (10:40.98).
