2025: Nichols played in 83 sets over 24 matches in her first season with the Cougars... She had a total of 144 kills off a .278 hitting percentage and added 48 digs...She also had career-high four aces at Tennessee State (Sept. 26)... She followed this performance with a career-high 10 blocks at Tennessee State (Sept. 27).

Prior to SIUE: Nichols spent two season at Western Illinois (2023-24) appearing in 29 sets her freshman year, and eight matches her sophomore year... She was fourth in conference and ninth in program history for her hitting percentage (2024) and recognized as female strength athlete of the year... She also played for Lamar appearing in 88 sets with 118 kills, hitting .181 with 43 total blocks... Nichols was a three sport athlete (volleyball, beach volleyball and track and field) for Lincoln Southeast High School...Nichols played in 35 matches as a junior and had more than 150 kills while hitting around .260... She was also a standout in the classroom receiving the Scholar-Athlete Award.
