Jake Sutter serves as the Associate Athletic Director for Championship Resources at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where he oversees the department’s revenue-generating efforts across sponsorships, ticketing, annual fundraising, major gifts, special events, and merchandising/NIL. Sutter joined SIUE in August 2023 as the Associate Athletic Director for Sales and Partnerships.
Prior to joining SIUE, Sutter served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sales and Partnerships at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside from 2021-23, where he oversaw corporate sponsorships and annual fundraising. He began his career in collegiate athletics with the Mid-American Conference, serving as a Marketing and Championships Intern in Cleveland from 2019-20. From 2017-19, Sutter worked at Carthage College as an Athletics Administration Graduate Assistant and Interim Director of Operations and Fundraising.
Sutter is a 2017 graduate of Carthage College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and was a four-year member of the football program, serving as a team captain. He earned his master’s degree from Carthage in 2019.
Sutter resides in Edwardsville with his wife, Brooke, and their son, Benson.
