Jaylynn Javens joined SIUE Athletic training staff in August of 2024. Javens will be assigned to women’s soccer as well as softball for the 2024-25 athletic season.
Javens received her bachelor's from Purdue in Athletic Training. While at Purdue, she acted as a student trainer. She then attended Toledo where she received her master's in exercise science with a concentration in athletic training. She also served as a graduate student athletic trainer for Rockets athletics.
Following her educational career, Javens worked at The College of Wooster as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
She is certified by the National Association of Athletic Training and also carries her Ohio OTPTAT Athletic Trainer License, her Board of Certification Exam in Athletic training. She is also a part of the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support.
