Kenneth Hartwig joined SIUE Athletics as a graduate assistant in event management and facility operations in July 2025.

Hartwig completed his college playing career as a member of the football program at Gannon after transferring from Emporia State University and received his bachelor's degree in supply chain management and a minor in sports management.

He has worked for The Erie SeaWolves, a double A Affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, KLANCE Unlimited, and FANGATE Solutions.

Hartwig made the MIAA-Honor Roll twice at Emporia State and earned Dean's List honors twice at Gannon.
