Lauren Krupica joined SIUE Athleics as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications / Video and Creative Media in August 2024 and oversees all video operations from a creative standpoint as well as management of SIUE's ESPN+ productions.
Returning to Illinois, Krupica grew up and attended high school in nearby Carlinville, Illinois.
Krupica comes to SIUE from Northwestern State in Natchitoches, Louisiana where she served in a dual role as the Director of Marketing and Digital Media. At NSU, Krupica not only managed video projects and social media content but also led the game day experience for the Demons.
Prior to assuming the full-time role at NSU, Krupica served as an Athletics Marketing Graduate Assistant while pursuing her master’s in sports administration.
Krupica earned her bachelor’s from Ball State where she was a member of Ball State Sports Link, the school’s award-winning student video production team. Through Sports Link, she was able to serve internships with the NCAA creating written and digital content promoting basketball and volleyball and also NASCAR Digital where she helped to create social video content.
She also held a digital marketing internship with the Indiana Fever of the WNBA.
