Max Holbrook joined the SIUE Athletic Department in August 2026 as a graduate assistant for athletic communications.
Holbrook graduated from Gonzaga University in the spring of 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. During his time at Gonzaga, he served as a Sports Information Assistant within the athletic department, supporting media relations efforts, recording live statistics, researching archived team and individual statistics, managing social media updates, and assisting with the creation and distribution of various press materials.
A native of Joliet, Illinois, Holbrook also gained experience with several professional and collegiate sports teams throughout Illinois, including the Normal CornBelters of the Prospect League and the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
In his role at SIUE, Holbrook will serve as the primary communications contact for Volleyball, Women’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, and Men’s and Women’s Cross Country.
