         Southern Illinois University Edwardsville improved to 10-3 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play on Saturday, defeating Bellarmine 24-30, 30-23, 30-26, 25-30, 15-9.
         Andrea Voss (St. Rose) led the offense with 15 kills. Kelly Schaill (Princeton) and Jennifer Trame (Highland) added 13 each in the five-game match. SIUE is now 18-11 overall and next faces Drury on the road.
         The Cougars have two remaining GLVC matches at Indianapolis on Friday and at Northern Kentucky on Saturday. Indianapolis is one of four teams, including SIUE, Lewis, and Southern Indiana, with a chance to be the No. 2 seed behind Northern Kentucky in next month's GLVC Tournament.
