SIUE Loses Season Finale to No. 4 Kentucky Wesleyan

         (EDWARDSVILLE, Ill) The Cougars were unable to get past No. 4 Kentucky Wesleyan as they dropped the final game of their season at home this evening 108-71 in the Vadalabene Center.
         The Cougars finish with a record of 7-19 overall and 4-16 in the conference. SIUE shot 38.6 percent from the field while Kentucky Wesleyan shot 58 percent (40-69) from the field and 55.2 percent (16-29) from beyond the arc. Kentucky Wesleyan improves its record to 23-3 overall and 17-3 in the conference.
         Marty Perry led the Cougars with 29 points, converting 13-of-23 from the field. Nick Hartwig also finished in double figures with 13 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds as he played in the final game of his career.
         Five Panthers finished in double figures, led by 22 points off the bench by Gino Bartolone. Bartolone hit 6-of-10 from beyond the arc and was a perfect 4-for-4 from the line. Also finishing in double figures are Lorico Duncan (18), Chris Landry (16), Chris Thomas (15) and Ronald Evans (10).
