Spann walked one and struck out six as SIUE downed Molloy in the day's opening game 11-1. Catcher Kelly Clay ripped a home run and drove in five runs. Katie Waldo added two hits and four runs batted in.

It was the 18th no-hitter in school history.

In the second game, Binghamton rallied to score two in the top of the seventh and defeat the Cougars 4-3. Dawn Farmer took the loss for SIUE. Erin Newman blasted a home for the Cougars.
