Angela Light

         SIUE's 1-0 victory at Bellarmine, accompanied by a Southern Indiana loss at Missouri-St. Louis, has vaulted SIUE's women's soccer team into the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
         SIUE will enter as the eighth-seed and will face first-seeded Northern Kentucky next Sunday in Highland Hts., Ky.
         Not knowing the outcome of the Southern Indiana/Missouri-St. Louis matchup, goalkeeper Jessica Brown did not allow a goal and Angela Light scored the only goal of the game to lift the Cougars to the 1-0 victory. Only after the game did the Cougars learn they qualified for the GLVC Tournament.
         SIUE rolled off three-straight GLVC wins to end the regular season and secure a post-season berth.
