         KENOSHA, Wis. - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville posted a near flawless performance with just five errors in three games to trounce Wisconsin-Parkside to defeat the Rangers 30-14, 30-28, 30-17.
         The five errors is the fewest by any SIUE team in a match with more than 30 kills. SIUE collected 50 kills, including 14 from Heather Bonde and 12 from Kindra Westendorf.
         The Cougars improved to 16-5 overall and 7-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Wisconsin-Parkside dropped to 7-14 and 2-7.
         Tina Talsma and Shannon Winkeler added nine kills each for the Cougars as SIUE setter Krystal Majernik scattered 43 assists.
         Brook Strickland led the Rangers with 10 kills.
         SIUE's next action is Friday when it plays host to Missouri-St. Louis. The first serve is at 7 p.m.
