         Southern Indiana sept Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 33-31, 30-23, 30-16 Wednesday at the Vadalabene Center.
         SIUE fell to 13-5 and 4-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. USI stayed undefeated in GLVC play at 5-0 and 11-4 overall.
         USI held SIUE to .037 hitting percentage and took advantage of SIUE's 14 service error in the three-game match. A crowd of 538 watched as the Cougars were held off in game one and never got back in games two or three.
         Tina Taslma led SIUE with eight kills. Leeanne Gross powered the Southern Indiana offense with 11 kills.
         SIUE's next action is Saturday at home against Bellarmine. Match time is 1 p.m.
