QUINCY, Ill. - Despite outshooting its opponents 14-6, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville was behind on the statistic that counted the most.

SIUE, 12-5-3, bowed out of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament with a 1-0 loss to Bellarmine. The Cougars had one goal called back because of an offsides call. 

It was a Jamie Halas goal at 49:15 that proved to be the difference in the game. 

Eight different Cougars took shots in the game, including three each from Kelly Limpert and Correen Roark. With six of the shots on goal, Bellarmine's Rebekah Westendorf recorded the shutout with six saves. 

Bellarmine moves on to play Indianapolis in the GLVC title game. Indianapolis upset top-seeded Quincy 1-0 in the otehr semifinal match.
