EDWARDSVILLE - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball cruised into the Great Lakes valley Conference Tournament semifinals Thursday with a 30-24, 30-23, 33-31 victory over Bellarmine.
         SIUE improved its record to 26-4 this season and has now won 33 straight matches against GLVC teams over the past two seasons.
         The next opponent for the Cougars will be Indianapolis, which ousted Northern Kentucky from the tournament in four games. The match time for the Indianapolis-SIUE matchup is 7:30 p.m. Friday.
         The Cougars hit .235 behind 12 kills from Kelsey Hubert, a first team All-GLVC selection. Ruth Shurts and Kate Hofeldt added 10 kills each.
         Katie Wetterer led the Bellarmine attack with 12 kills.
         SIUE survived 16 service errors in the match but outdueled the Knights on the net with 11 blocks to Bellarmine's 10.
