         Southern Illinois University Edwardsville used a balanced attack Friday to defeat Saint Joseph's 30-18, 30-18, 28-30, 30-20 in college volleyball action.
         Kelsey Hubert was one of four Cougars in double figures in kills with 11. Joining her was Emily Rahn with 10, Mallory Clements with 11 and Kate Hofeldt with 11.
         SIUE pounded out 65 kills in the four-game match. SIUE's defense allowed just 38 kills from Saint Joseph's. The Pumas also struggled with 31 attack errors.
         Joy Trendelman was the lone bright spot for the Pumas with a match-high 14 kills.
         SIUE continues its road trip Saturday at Indianapolis. Match time is 3 p.m. Live statistics will be available on the Indianapolis web site.
