No. 20 SIUE Defeats Indianapolis

         INDIANAPOLIS -- Kim Potthast posted a nearly-perfect match Saturday as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball won its sixth straight in a 30-23, 30-28, 26-30, 30-19 win over Indianapolis.
         Potthast recorded a match-high 17 kills with one error in 25 attacks for a .640 hitting percentage. As a team, SIUE hit .331, the second-best effort of the season. SIUE now improves to 12-2 and 5-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
         The Cougars are now the lone team left undefeated in GLVC play. Indianapolis fell to 11-4 overall and 3-1 in the GLVC.
         SIUE setter Mallory Clements also had a big match with her second triple-double of the season. Clements posted 13 kills, 48 assists and 10 digs.
         Kelsey Hubert also was strong down the stretch. She blasted 15 kills. Emily Rahn added 12 kills. SIUE finished with 72 kills in the four-game match.
         Indianapolis outside hitter Casey Chrzastowski led her team with 15 kills.
         SIUE is now idle until Tuesday when it returns to the Vadalabene Center to face Southern Indiana. The first serve is set for 7 p.m.
