EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Ashley Price (O'Fallon) earned the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athlete of the Week honors.
         Price helped the Cougar softball team to four wins last week. She was impressive at the plate hitting 5 for 9 with four runs scored, four walks, six runs batted and two home runs.
         During the Cougars doubleheader against Lincoln, Price blasted a pair of home runs in her two at bats in game one.
         Price batted .571 for the week.
         Price and the Cougars next will play Wednesday against Northern State at 9 a.m. EST in Kissimmee, Fla.
