SIUE Extends Streak To Seven Games

         ORLANDO, FLA. -- The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville softball team extended its winning streak to seven games with wins over Findlay and Ferris State on Monday.
         SIUE put down Findlay 10-2 and Ferris State 7-3 on the second day of the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla.
         Sabra McCune improved her record to 4-1 while facing 23 Findlay batters in the six-inning game called due the eight-run rule. She struck out 12 batters while only giving up two earned runs.
         Four Cougars had two hits each, including McCune, Jodie Ohlau, Libby Lenart and Kaeleigh Rousey.
         Kaitlin Colosimo earned the win against Ferris State. The seven-strikeout performance increased Colosimo's record to 4-1 on the season.
         Courtney Mall and Ashley Price each scored two runs in the win.
         The Cougars will look to add to their win streak Wednesday against Northern State University at 9 a.m. in Kissimmee, Fla.
