No. 15 Cougars Roll Over Quincy

         EDWARDSVILLE, ILL. -- With a stingy defense, the No. 15 Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball Cougars rolled over Quincy Tuesday 30-25, 30-17, 30-23 at the Vadalabene Center.
         SIUE improved to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Quincy fell to 9-4 overall and 0-2 in league play.
         Samantha Schulte led the Cougars with 12 kills while Emily Rahn added 11.
         The Cougars hit .254, but it was the Cougar defense that allowed just 29 kills from Quincy to the Hawks's 28 attack errors that proved the difference.
         SIUE's brief stint at home now turns back to the road as the Cougars travel to Quincy and Rockhurst Friday and Saturday.
