SIUE Slides Past Drury

         SPRINGFIELD, MO. -- No. 15-ranked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville volleyball reminaed undefeated in Great Lakes Valley Conference play Saturday with a four-set victory over Drury.
         The Cougars, 11-3 overall and 4-0 in GLVC play, also hold a five-match winning streak. SIUE topped Drury 30-26, 30-26, 28-30, 30-23.
         Samantha Schulte led all hitters with 21 kills and seven blocks. She hit .543 for the match.
         Kelsey Hubert also turned in a strong performance with 15 kills and five blocks.
         SIUE setter Mallory Clements capped her week with seven kills, 12 digs and 58 assists. For the week, the junior setter accounted for 13.8 assists per game and more than two kills per game.
         Megan Worhol powered the Drury attack with 19 kills followed by 18 from Courtney Hendrickson.
         The Cougars are now idle until next Friday when it plays host to Missouri-Rolla, which is playing its first season ever of collegiate volleyball. Game time at the Vadalabene Center is 7 p.m.
