         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Mallory Clements tied the school record for service aces with nine Saturday as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville routed Air Force 25-13, 25-16, 25-21 in college volleyball.
         Clements recorded 16 digs and 24 assists along with her service aces. SIUE posted 17 services aces for the match, one short of the school record. Clements tied the single-match record set by Yvonne Welch in 1996.
         SIUE had little trouble with the Falcons, hitting .228 for the match with 36 kills. Emily Rahn, who also finished with four service aces, led SIUE with 11 kills followed by seven from Kelsey Hubert.
         The Cougars improved to 7-8 overall while the Falcons fell to 5-14.
         SIUE's next action is Tuesday in Springfield, Mo., against Missouri State. Match time is 7 p.m. between the Cougars and the Bears.
