         QUINCY, Ill. -- Carli Connors and Ali Wulfers both won their singles matches without giving up a game Saturday as Southern Illinois University Edwardsville women's tennis dispatched Quincy 8-1.
         Connors, playing No. 1 singles, defeated Quincy's Anele Novak 6-0, 6-0. The same score went for Ali Wulfer's No. 3 singles victory over QU's Alison Holloway.
         SIUE won its fourth straight dual match and improved to 8-7 overall and 4-2 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. Quincy fell to 11-6 overall and 3-3 in the GLVC.
         While SIUE won five singles matches and all three doubles events, Quincy picked up its only point at No. 5 singles as Bernadette Hayden topped SIUE's Stephanie Clark 6-4, 6-3.
         SIUE returns home Tuesday for a 4:30 p.m. match against Washington (Mo.).
