SIUE dropped to
4-4 for the season and now gets set for its first and only regular
season home game of the season against Missouri-St. Louis. The
first touch is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday.
On Sunday, SIUE
had a couple of good chances, according to Coach Derek
Burton.
"We just didn't
have any intensity, the type of intensity we had for the last three
games," said Burton.
SIUE's three-game
winning streak ended Sunday as Missouri State carried a 15-8 shot
advantage. The Bears also picked up second-half insurance goals
from Christine Cross and Kelsey Finders.
Brittany Bodziak
came off the bench to provide a team-leading three shots for the
Cougars, two of which were on-goal.
