         PALM BEACH, Fla. - Ohio State rallied for three runs in the ninth and edged Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 13-10 at the Palm Beach Baseball Classic.
         The Cougars and the Buckeyes were tied 10-10 through eight innings before OSU's Michael Arp singled home one run. Two errors later, the Buckeyes held a three-run lead that held up.
         Drew Rucinski picked up the win for Ohio State in 2 2/3 innings of relief. Jake Hale earned his third save of the season after getting Chilos Norris III to pop out to end the game.
         SIUE's offense was in high gear again Saturday attacking Ohio State pitching for 11 hits, including home runs by Adam Eggemeyer, Josh Street and Mitch Matecki. The Cougars stranded nine runners overall.
         Ohio State hit SIUE pitching for 17 hits. SIUE reliever Spencer Patton took the loss, allowing the final four runs to Ohio State in 3 2/3 innings.
         SIUE now returns from Florida and will head to Columbia, Mo., for a Wednesday game against the University of Missouri. The first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
