EIU Blanks Cougars

         EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - Tyler Kehrer tossed a one-hit shutout Sunday as Eastern Illinois University blanked Southern Illinois University Edwardsville 5-0 in college baseball action at Coaches Stadium.
         Kehrer, 4-3, was dominant with 14 strikeouts in the nine-inning contest. Ryan Wiggs provided the only hit for the Cougars, a third-inning single.
         Luke Vine took the loss for the Cougars with six innings of work. He gave up four runs on six hits.
         Eastern Illinois, 32-9, collected eight hits. Ryan Lindquist led the Panthers with two RBIs.
         SIUE is now idle until Wednesday when it travels to Bradley for a single game at 6 p.m.
