EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Thursday's non-conference softball game between SIUE and Evansville has been cancelled.

Due to anticipated weather conditions in Evansville at the scheduled 4 p.m. game time, the contest was called. Poor weather conditions have now caused five SIUE softball contests to be cancelled this season.

SIUE Head Coach Sandy Montgomery and the Cougars will be idle until this weekend when it plays host to Ohio Valley Conference rival Tennessee Tech for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday. The Cougars welcome Jacksonville State for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.
