STILLWATER, Okla. – SIUE women's tennis completes the ITA Central Regional Tournament with three wins in the consolation bracket.

"We played some really good tennis this weekend," said Head Coach Amanda Pratzel. "Everyone has something to take away from the tournament."

Mia Frogner came up with a win against Lauren Pickens from Kansas in three sets, 6-3, 4-6, 10-3.  Frogner lost only won match on the weekend.

Lexi Aranda won a match against Nebraska player Kateryna Matyzova, 6-1, 6-0.

 Monique Krutak also won her first round in the consolation bracket against Florencia Magui from South Dakota State, 7-6, 6-4.

"We want to get better every day, and these matches helped us get there," said Pratzel. "We are ready to build from it and prepare for next weekend."

Women's Tennis travels to Des Moines, Iowa Oct. 24-26 for the Drake Invitational.
