EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – The SIUE women's tennis team embarks on the second leg of its fall season with matches Friday and Saturday at the Lindenwood Invite in St. Charles, Missouri.

SIUE joins host Lindenwood and Washington University for the two-day event at the Lindenwood Tennis Facility. The Cougars are slated to play singled against Lindenwood at 2 p.m. Friday and Washington U. at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Doubles play includes two rounds at 5 p.m. Friday and one round on Saturday at noon.

The Cougars are coming off a successful opening tournament at the Cougar Invite. Stefaniya Anikina, Margaux Guibal Britt, Paloma Hennicaux and Elena Palioura each went 2-0 in singles play while the team won 12 singles matches overall.

Friday:
2 pm – Lindenwood vs. SIUE in singles
5 pm - Doubles for all (2 rounds, SIUE will play Lindenwood and Wash U)

Saturday:
9 am - Lindenwood vs. Wash U in singles
12 pm - 1 round of doubles (SIUE will play Lindenwood and Wash U)
1 pm - SIUE vs. Wash U singles
