Box Score MURRAY, Ky. – Murray State kept its winning streak alive Saturday, defeating SIUE volleyball 25-13, 25-14, 25-19 at Racer Arena.
Kristen Besselsen led the Racers with 14 kills as Murray State captured its 13th straight win. The Racers improved to 16-1 overall and 6-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference. SIUE dropped to 3-13 overall and 1-5 in the OVC.
Kristen Torre and Ashley Witt tied for the SIUE lead in kills with five each.
The Cougars now begin a string of four straight matches at the Vadalabene Center. SIUE welcomes Southeast Missouri next Friday at 7 p.m. followed by UT Martin at 2 p.m. next Saturday. SIUE also will welcome Murray State (Oct. 23) and Austin Peay (Oct. 24) on the complete homestand.
