Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky swept an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader from SIUE baseball Friday winning 15-1 and 10-7.

Mason McReaken (2-2) allowed all three runs in 2/3 of an inning. He gave up four hits and struck out one.

The Cougars took an early lead in the contest, scoring the first run of the game just two batters in. Jordan Ross led off the game with a single and then scored on a double by Eric Giltz.

The Colonels tied the game in the bottom of the inning and then scored three runs in the third inning to go on top 4-1.

Both team scored in the fourth inning and it was 5-3 heading in the fifth inning when Jared McCunn sent a one-out, two-run homer to left to tie the score.

Eastern Kentucky went back on top 7-5, when SIUE tied the score again in the top of the eighth. Aaron Jackson opened the inning, reaching on an error after a slow roller to the right side of the infield. Fehr then walked. Both runners advanced on a wild pitch.
