Box Score EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.— SIUE volleyball fell short to Tennessee Tech, 3-1 on Saturday in an Ohio Valley Conference match.
"It wasn't a terrible match," commented Head Volleyball Coach Kendall Paulus. "We hit .192 on the day, which is not terrible, but we made errors at crucial times."
Dylynn Otte recorded a double-double on the evening, posting 23 digs and ten kills.
"We had momentum throughout the match, but just didn't show it," Paulus added.
Other Cougars who contributed to the team's effort include Savannah Christian who lead the team in kills with 12, Gabby Wimes who added nine of her own and Hope Everett who contributed eight.
Defensively for the team, Kiana Fields led the team in blocks with four.
Mallory Nicholson and Addie Sieber both led the offensive flow of the team by recording 28 and 17 assists.
The Cougars now move to 10-10 on the season and 5-3 in OVC play.
The team will be back in action next Friday as they travel to play Eastern Kentucky with first serve set for 5 p.m.
