Taylor Spiller was named the Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for a second straight week. She recorded a career-high 11 saves in the 1-0 win over Eastern Illinois. Her back-to-back saves in the 77th minute highlighted SIUE's third shutout of the season.
• Spiller now has eight career shutouts.

Lily Schnieders recorded her first game-winning goal of the season against Eastern Illinois, scoring in the third minute against the Panthers.
• Schnieders scored in both games last week and now leads the Cougars in goals scored (3).
• This is the 16th meeting between the Screaming Eagles and the Cougars. The last time SIUE and USI met was in 2007 when both were members of the Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference. SIUE has won the last four meetings against Southern Indiana.
• The Division I women's soccer RPI ratings were released earlier this week. SIUE was ranked the top team in the OVC at No. 139 overall. Southern Indiana is ranked No. 310 in its first year of NCAA Division I play.
