• This is the 13th meeting in the series between the Cougars and the Golden Eagles. Each team has won five times and tied twice. SIUE has won the last two meetings, including a 4-3 overtime win in Cookeville last season.
• Taylor Spiller has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Week twice this season. She is coming off her third shutout of the OVC season, 0-0 tie against Southern Indiana. Spiller has four shutouts this season and nine in her collegiate career.
• Lily Schnieders recorded her first game-winning goal of the season against Eastern Illinois, scoring in the third minute against the Panthers.
• In four OVC games, SIUE's defense has allowed just one goal.
• The Division I women's soccer RPI ratings were released earlier this week. SIUE was ranked the top team in the OVC at No. 170 overall. Tennessee Tech is next at No. 177.
