• Sunday's matchup is the regular season finale for all teams in the Ohio Valley Conference. All five matches are scheduled to start at 1 p.m. The full OVC Tournament bracket will announced soon after the completion of play.
• SIUE currently is in a tie for third with Southern Indiana. Based off the projections of the league standings, SIUE can finish anywhere from third to fifth in the league standings depending on the outcome of Sunday's OVC play.
• Spiller recorded her fourth shutout of the season at UT Martin Thursday. She now has 16 shutouts in her collegiate career, which is tied for fourth all-time with Marilyn Kastner (1988-91). That also is the second most in the Division I era. Spiller's season-high in saves this season is nine in the road win at IUPUI.
• The Cougars exploded for a season-high four goals last Sunday against Western Illinois.
Sidney Christopher recorded a goal and two assists and is now the team's leading scorer with three goals and two assists for eight points.
• SIUE's last matchup against Morehead State was back-to-back wins to close out the 2022 regular season and then a 2-0 win in the semifinals of the 2022 OVC Tournament in Cookeville, Tennessee.
• SIUE has outshot its opponents in seven of the last eight matches. The Cougars have outshot OVC competition 106-58 this season.
• SIUE leads the OVC in corner kicks per game (5.40) and is 81st nationally in that statistical category.
