• Southeast Missouri defeated SIUE 1-0 back on October 1st. Maddie Paulson scored from 30 yards out at 88:24 for the game's lone goal.
• The Cougars are coming off back-to-back-to-back OVC Championships titles. SIUE has been in the title game in each of the last four seasons and officially has not lost any of those contests. Belmont advanced on penalty kicks four seasons ago.
•
Sidney Christopher is the team's leading scorer with three goals and two assists.
•
Matea Diekema leads SIUE in shots with 24 followed by Christopher with 18. Ten different players have 10 shots or more.
• The first 11 goals this season were scored by 11 different players.
Kasey Neidhardt broke that string with her second goal of the season (Sept. 24 against Lindenwood), scoring in the seventh minute of play.
•
Taylor Spiller recorded her fourth shutout of the season at UT Martin. She now has 16 shutouts in her collegiate career, which is tied for fourth all-time with Marilyn Kastner (1988-91). That also is the second most in the Division I era. Spiller's season-high in saves this season is nine in the road win at IUPUI.
