ELSAH, Ill. – SIUE women's cross country competed at the Border War XC Championships on Friday evening at Principia XC Course. The Cougars averaged a 21:20 time in the 5,000m race.

Ana Keller led the Cougars with a seventh-place finish, crossing the finish line at 20:50.0. The sophomore's time was good for a PR.

Junior Alexis Edgar also finished the race with a career best mark at 20:55.3 for ninth overall. Freshman Alexis Kampwerth placed 11th at 20:59.5 while Olivia Wolf earned 14th at 21:47.6. Courtney Anthonies finished behind Wolf, crossing the finish line at 22:11.4 for 15th.
