EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE wrestling opens the 2023-24 season Thursday with a dual meet at the State Farm Center against Illinois.
Match time is 6 p.m.
The event is being deemed the "Illini for the Kids" meet as members of the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation (IKWF) will be on hand. The net proceeds for the meet will benefit the IKWF, which is dedicated to growing the sport of boy's and girl's wrestling throughout the state.
The Mid-American Conference also announced the 2023 MAC Wrestling Pre-Season poll. These rankings have been provided by WrestleStat. SIUE is picked to finish ninth in a league of 13 competitors. A look at the full team rankings and each weight class is listed below.
