WEEKEND WINNERS: The Cougars won four of their five nonconference weekend series this year, taking two of three from Incarnate Word, Louisiana-Monroe and UIC while sweeping Western Illinois at home.

LEAGUE LEADERS: SIUE hitters are fourth in the league with a .254 batting average, but lead the league in doubles with 55. SIUE pitchers are fourth in the OVC in earned run average at 5.97 and are third in total strikeouts with 207. The Cougars hold the highest fielding percentage in the league at .981, good for No. 19 in the NCAA.Â
Additionally, Bunten leads the OVC and is No. 3 in the NCAA with 15 doubles.
Brennan Orf is 21st in the NCAA in walks with 27. Tuesday starter
