• SIUE collected its first victory of the season, 2-1 decision over Purdue Fort Wayne to close out a three-game homestand.
• This is SIUE's first regular season road contest against a team which has yet to give up a goal in its first three regular season matches.
Kasey Neidhardt became the team's leading scorer with three points. All three points came in SIUE's win over Purdue Fort Wayne. She scored the first goal of the 2-1 victory and then provided an assist on the eventual game-winning goal.
• SIUE outshot IUPUI 14-12 in last year's meeting but dropped a 3-2 decision. Savannah DeFini scored a goal and Sydney Christopher had an assist in that contest (Aug. 21).
• SIUE enters the season coming off three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and three Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game victories.
