 This is the first time SIUE and Saint Louis have met at a neutral site. This historic matchup at CITYPARK is the first time the two teams have played each other somewhere other than Hermann Stadium or Korte Stadium.
• Seven different players have scored in the first five SIUE contests. All areas of the field have scored, including back-to-back goals from SIUE defenders Matea Diekema and Mary Fetter against IUPUI. Ashlyn Nichols is the latest to score for the Cougars in Thursday's 1-1 tie against SIU Carbondale.
• Three of SIUE's seven goals this season have come in the final minute of the first half. Ella Robinson scored with 25 seconds left against Milwaukee (8/20). Diekema scored with 36 seconds left against IUPUI (8/27). Nichols scored with 56 seconds left against SIU Carbondale (8/31).
• SIUE was the first Ohio Valley Conference team to win back-to-back games this season. SIUE recorded wins against Purdue Fort Wayne and IUPUI.
• SIUE enters the season coming off three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and three Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game victories.
