ST. CHARLES, Mo. – SIUE volleyball continued the conference portion of its schedule at Lindenwood on Friday night. The Lions used a .224 attack percentage while holding the Cougars to a .130 clip to down SIUE 3-0 at Robert F. Hyland Arena. The set scores were 22-25, 24-26, 25-23, and 21-25.

SIUE falls to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play. Lindenwood improves to 6-7 and 2-0.

After falling in the first two sets, SIUE rallied to take the third frame on its best attack percentage of the night at .178. The Lions regrouped to take the final set and the match

Inside the Numbers:

• Priscilla Jones led the Cougars' attack with 13 kills. The junior finished the match with a .360 attack percentage. Bree Schreimann and Julia Treichel contributed eights kills apiece.
• At center court, Alyse Drifka dished out a team-high 22 assists. Grace Beekman added 14 assists.
• Drifka tallied a team-high three service aces. Abi Banitt, Julia Treichel, Priscilla Jones, Sydney Hummert, and Bree Schreimann also recorded aces.
• At the net, Chelsey Abel and Treichel led SIUE with three blocks each.
• On defense, Abi Banitt led SIUE with 16 digs. Treichel added 13 while Drifka collected 11 for a double-double.

Up Next: SIUE volleyball returns to First Community Arena on Sep. 29 and 30 for a pair of matches with Southeast Missouri. The Cougars will face the Redhawks at 6:00 p.m. on Friday before closing out the weekend at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
