EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE Athletics and the Cougar Athletic Excellence Fund announced its annual fundraising drive Tuesday, offering opportunities for alumni, family, friends and supporters to generously donate to support the Cougar program of their choice.
"I share with our student-athletes our commitment to making progress, to consistently and ambitiously strive to becoming a better version of ourselves," said SIUE Director of Athletics Andrew Gavin. "To elevate SIUE Athletics and reach our goals, we humbly ask each of our alumni, donors, and supporters to generously support our vision and positively impact the success of our student-athletes in and out of competition."
The Cougar Athletic Excellence Fund is the annual fundraising arm for SIUE Athletics. Philanthropic support for the Cougar Athletic Excellence Fund allows for strategic investment and support of the athletics department's highest priority needs.
Each of SIUE's sport programs welcome donations by donors excited to join their respective sport-specific clubs. Depending on giving level, donors will have the opportunity to enjoy perks including name recognition, insider information from our coaches, vouchers to redeem on sport-specific adidas gear, and unforgettable experiences.
Your investment will foster success in and out of competition for our programs and student-athletes. Gifts made during the annual fundraising campaign will support the needs of SIUE's sports and enhance the operating budgets.
The annual fund drive will be open through Giving Tuesday on Nov. 28, 2023. Challenges to unlock additional support for the teams will be announced throughout the initiative!
