THE BASICS: SIUE volleyball continues its 2023 campaign at home, welcoming Southeast Missouri for a pair of matches. The Cougars will face the Redhawks on Friday at 6:00 p.m. before closing the weekend at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT: Lindenwood used a .224 attack percentage while holding SIUE to a .130 clip to down the Cougars in four sets on Saturday, Sep. 23. Priscilla Jones led the Cougars' attack with 13 kills while Alyse Drifka added a double-double with 22 assists and 11 digs.

THE SERIES: Friday marks the 29th meeting between the Cougars and Redhawks dating back to 2008. The all-time series is tied 14-14 with the Redhawks besting SIUE in the last six matchups. The Cougars own an 8-3 record against SEMO at First Community Arena.

NATIONAL RANKS: The Cougars lead the Ohio Valley Conference and rank 50th in the NCAA with 122 total blocks. SIUE has picked up double-digit total blocks in eight contests this season, including a season-high 13 on two occasions. Priscilla Jones leads SIUE with 49 this season, good for third in the OVC.

100 KILL CLUB: Three Cougars have registered over 100 kills this season: Priscilla Jones (130), Sydney Hummert (122), and Julia Treichel (112) also have tallied double-digit aces.

DIG IT: Freshman Abi Banitt's 174 digs this season ranks sixth in the conference. She has collected 10 or more in 11 of SIUE's 13 contests this season. Treichel (133) and Drifka (103) are the only other Cougars to tally 100 or more digs this season.

SERVING UP ACES: Hummert's 21 service aces rank fifth in the OVC. She is averaging 0.43 aces per set. Treichel (14), Banitt (12), and Corinna Jones (10).

AT CENTER COURT: Drifka leads SIUE with 250 assists this season. Grace Beekman's 144 assists rank second on the team while her 5.54 assists per set lead the squad. Corinna Jones has dished out 121 assists this season, averaging 4.03 per set.
