Kasey Neidhardt broke through as the first player to record a second goal this season in the 1-0 win over Lindenwood. Previous to the Lindenwood game, SIUE's scoring had come from 11 different players.
• Both of Neidhardt's goals this season have come in the first seven minutes of the contest. She scored at the 5:07 mark on Aug. 25 against Purdue Fort Wayne and at the 6:30 mark of the Sept. 24 match against Lindenwood.
• SIUE is undefeated in its last six meeting against Southeast Missouri. The Cougars won last year's contest 2-0 in Cape Girardeau. A 3-3 tie in 2021 is the only game over the last six in which the Cougars weren't victorious.
• Sunday's matchup features the two teams with the most overall victories in the Ohio Valley Conference. SEMO leads the OVC with five followed by SIUE with four.
