NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cougars win in four sets against Tennessee State, with set scores were 25-21, 19-25, 25-19, 25-17.
 
As a team, the Cougars recorded 70 points, 55 kills, nine service aces, six blocks, 50 assists and 71 digs. The Cougars outplayed the Tigers in every category except service aces, where they tied at six.
 
Inside The Numbers:

• Senior Alyse Drifka put up four kills with one error out of six total attempts. She also recorded another double-double for the season with 15 digs and 25 assists. Drifka needs just three more assists to reach 2,000-career assist.
• Senior Corinna Jones also contributed 18 assists and six digs.
• Junior Kyndia Smith led the charge recording 13 kills, hitting at a .375 clip. Freshman Sophia Robinson followed with 11 kills and a .364 hitting percentage, and senior Ainsley Ranstead added 10 kills at a .421 percentage.
• Senior Gabi Andrade anchored the defense putting up 19 of the team's 71 digs.
• Grad Student Nicole Medlin helped protect the net with five blocks and contributed six kills. Senior Sydney Hummert tallied three blocks and nine kills.
