• This is the sixth all-time meeting between the Cougars and the Leathernecks. SIUE is 3-1-1 and tied Western Illinois in its only appearance in Macomb back in 2010.
• SIUE scored a season-high four goals last season in a 4-2 victory in Edwardsville, SIUE's goals included ones from returners Sidney Christopher, Aleah Minehart and Kaitlyn Nichols.
• The Cougars have outshot their 10 opponents overall 120-117.
• SIUE posted a season-best 12 corner kicks against Little Rock.
• Abby Haskell recorded her first career shutout against Little Rock. She previously had a shared shutout with Samaya Hogg against Missouri State.
• Three of SIUE's next four OVC matches will be on the road with Western Illinois (Oct. 3), Tennessee Tech (Oct. 13) and Southeast Missouri (Oct. 17). The Cougars have one home contest  sandwiched in between against Eastern Illinois (Oct. 6).
