EDWARDSVILLE, Ill- Senior Corinna Jones had her 2,000th career assist against the Panthers. Jones got this assist during the second set off the 15th point of the set. She had a total of 14 assists during the match.
 
Cougar Volleyball was defeated 3-1 by Eastern Illinois in their second meet up. The Cougars took charge winning the first set (25-17) before EIU came back taking the final three sets (25-18,25-21,25-21).
 
As a team the Cougars had 43 kills, nine service aces, five blocks, 40 assists and 45 digs, compared to EIU's 59 kills, six service aces, seven blocks, 54 assists and 49 digs.
 
Alyse Drifka contributed 20 assists during this match, and Gabi Andrade had 12 digs against the Panthers.
 
Outside's Sydney Hummert, Ainsley Ranstead, and Sophie Robinson had eight kills each. Ranstead also contributed five service aces.
 
Destiny Walker led the charge for the Panthers with 23 kills, followed by Kaitlyn Flynn with 15 kills.
