EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – SIUE baseball senior Drew Mize (Dardenne Prairie, Missouri) has earned Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors following his offensive performance last week vs. Bradley and Little Rock.
Mize went 7-for-16 (.438) at the dish with five RBIs during the week. He recorded hits in all four games, including a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth in game one of Saturday's doubleheader. He also provided a solo homer in game one on Saturday, finishing the contest with three driven in.
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
