EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE women's soccer outshot its opponent for the second straight contest and fell to Indiana State 1-0 Sunday at Korte Stadium.
SIUE, 1-4-2, has completed its nonconference season and next gets set to welcome UT Martin next Sunday for the beginning of the Ohio Valley Conference portion of the regular season.

Savannah DeFini.
Indiana State improved to 5-2-2 for the season behind an unassisted goal by Emma Famulak at 19:30 of the first half. Her shot hit the upper left of the net while the two teams had a crowded box around SIUE goalkeeper
Abby Haskell.
Haskell collected four saves for the Cougars. SIUE's offense kept Sycamores' goalkeeper Maddie Alexander quite busy with eight saves plus one shot that went off the post late in the second half.
